Overviewlibe is a C library which contains various functions which deal with data structures (hash tables, bitmasks, trees of IP addresses, etc.), networking, I/O, barriers, and other useful things. It is currently used in the implementation of authd (RSA authentication daemon), pcp (a parallel, pipelined file transfer system), and gexec (a fast, hierarchical cluster remote execution system).
SoftwareUpdate: libe source code and releases are now maintained as part of the Ganglia project. The libe source can be checked out via svn at: http://sourceforge.net/svn/?group_id=43021. The source code can be browsed directly at: http://ganglia.svn.sf.net/viewvc/ganglia/trunk/gexec/libe. See the Ganglia SourceForge page for more.
